Jackal Fencing is proud to supply the Mhouse range of gate automation. Mhouse products are designed and made in Italy and are backed by a 2-year warranty. The drive units and accessories have been specifically designed for the DIY and are easy to install.

Fast and Simple

Fast and simple connections. Mhouse uses unique colour-coded cable connectors and labelled terminals in matching colours.

Connect up to seven pairs of obstacle sensors using only two cables and without having to worry about polarity.

Programming the motor is as simple as pressing two buttons for three seconds to program all functions. If you need to adjust a parameter you won’t need any tools, the main functions are set with the remote.

All of our gate designs can be manufactured to accommodate automation. We can supply you with an automation kit that has everything you will need to complete the job!

There are 3 options when it comes to powering your sliding gate motor.

When a 240V power point is available at the gate

3-Pin Plug

  • Uses a 240V power point at the gate.
  • 240V power must be fitted by an electrician
  • For busy gates

In most domestic situations the SL1 motor will be sufficient, but if your gate is on a slope, is larger than 5m or 400kg or is a solid design in a high wind area, you may require a larger motor. Give our friendly sales team a call to discuss your requirements.

When there is no power available at the gate, but there is one within 50 meters

External Transformer

  • Connect to any power point.
  • Safe - Low voltage 24V cable is safe for children and animals.
  • No trench - Australian laws say 230V cable be laid in a 600mm deep trench. 24V (garden light) cable can sit above or just below the surface.
  • Economical - No need for an electrician to install a power point at the gate.
  • Easy DIY - Uses any power point up to 50m from the gate. The power point can be in the house, garage or garden.

Using Solar to power your gate motor

Solar power

  • The easiest Kit to install.
  • Ideal for long driveways
  • No electrician
  • No digging
  • Easy DIY
  • Not for use on busy gates
