Steel picket design specifications

As the quality of your finished product is important to us we only use premium quality powder coat colours. Choose from a large range of premium powder coat colours to complete the look and feel of your home.
Whether your main consideration is strength or aesthetics we have a large range of post options available. Available in either galvanised or premium powder coated finish.
- Sizes available: 50mm x 50mm, 65mm x 35mm, 65mm x 65mm, 75mm x 75mm, 90mm x 90mm, 100mm x 100mm, 125mm x 125mm.

Posts on plates
For posts that are unable to go into the ground, we can supply posts with a welded base plate which can be dyna bolted to concrete or a paved area. Let us know which of these placement options best suits your requirements.
Welded Lugs
Can't dig your post into the ground or secure a post on a plate to a secure footing? We can manufacture posts with lugs welded prior to powder coating for ease of fixing to brick face.
Post Caps
If you find yourself in a sticky situation, speak to us about designing a post solution to solve your fencing challenge. We pride ourselves on being able to think outside the square and can custom design cranked or dog leg posts.

Single Gates
Standard single gates are 1000mm between posts, or they can be manufactured to fit your specific requirements. They come with a D-Latch and powder coated butt hinges (which can be fixed with tek screws). Sliding gates are a great option when you have limited space in your yard to allow for swing gates. Our entire range of fencing styles can be manufactured for sliding gate applications, can be easily automated and are a practical whilst securing your property. Sliding gates can be manufactured as small as 1000mm between posts to as large as 7500mm and up to 2100mm high.

SELECTING THE RIGHT MOTOR
Things to consider when selecting a gate motor for your new Jackal manufactured gate:
- Is your gate larger than the manufacturers recommendations for length and weight?
- Is your driveway sloping?
- Will your gate motor be used more frequently than for “normal” residential use?
Please consider carefully, the motor type required for your needs, as the responsibility of the selected gate motor lies with the installer, as this is part of the site assessment and the overall needs of the property owner.

Nice Home automation is covered by a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty. With the exclusion of batteries, this covers the automation for parts only, and applies to any fault which is directly related to the manufacture of the actual product.
The warranty does not cover motor failure, as a result of unsatisfactory installation and/or applications where the unit has been installed outside of the manufacturer’s specifications. Nor does it cover motor performance issues resulting from environmental factors, misuse or vandalism.
